Let’s take a break from posts! We covered a lot there—how to create them, edit them and group them with categories and tags. It’s a great start, and you’re ready to start writing some articles for your blog! But what about the pages that aren’t part of the blog, like a Contact page or a page about you or your website?
As you learned earlier, pages are independent (outside of your blog) and the information on them isn’t time-bound. Will your blog have pages? Most do, but it’s not always a requirement.
Students enrolled in the Academy have access to a video overview of the Creating and Editing Pages in WordPress. This free video covers the following topics:
- Creating a new page in WordPress
- Editing and deleting pages
- Change page order
- And much more!
Joining the Academy is free and will give you instant access to the Creating and Editing Pages video.
Did you note some of the creation and editing similarities between posts and pages? This should all be getting familiar now!
Let’s try creating a page on your blog and testing your understanding with a bit of trivia.
